and check out this book, Wabi Inspirations…the use of natural pieces (wood & stone elements) feel so warm that it makes me wanna tear up the carpet & tear down the drywall.

but i better not, cause then i’ll lose my deposit…

first, a bit of a share.

on DEC 30, i found myself in an emergency room in Santa Monica after an auto accident involving some friends (everyone’s ok, thankfully & thank you). whilst waiting, as one may do at an ER, & flipping thru T Magazine’s Winter Travel 2012 issue, i came across an article for Kate Dougherty, who was an assistant set decorator on “Moonrise Kingdom.”

now (more sharing) i do want & need to see “Moonrise” again, as i’m not sure i appreciated as much as i should the first time i saw it.

so (even more sharing), w/ “Moonrise” on the brain, i left a small party early on NYE to come home & ring in 2013 w/ a double feature of “The Royal Tenenbaums” & “The Life Aquatic w/ Steve Zissou” on DVD…such amazing films both.

point is, check out Kate Dougherty’s website here: Kate Dougherty Designs…cause it looks like she’s done some great work that has nothing to do w/ Wes Anderson movies too.

Is This "Wright" To Do...?:

a development team that bought a Phoenix, Ariz., house designed by the architect Frank Lloyd Wright will sell the house rather than accept landmark status for it.

i find it curious when one of the property’s owners claims that, “he had no idea of its (the house’s) significance, or of the difference ‘between Frank Lloyd Wright and the Wright brothers.’”

hmmm…

for the most part, any furniture/furnishing i’ve dealt has been listed only on Craigslist.

now i’m not saying i don’t LOVE Craigslist, because i do.
